Several
years ago Cory Nelson and I established an outdoor education program.
Today I'm confident that our OE program is a top level program
where a number of our schools return each spring for an outdoor
experience for their grades 7 or 8. Our counselors, who are university
students provide a high energy program that is truly exciting
and challenging for the students. It has become a rich experience
for the students and for the QML leaders who are assigned to it.
Last years program had schools coming from as far away as Ottawa
to as far as Oshawa to the west. If you want to bring your class,
organize it early and book your May or June date.
